• Management will deal with misconduct on site, associated with drug and alcohol
use.

• Betelnut (Buai) will not be consume in the workplace, this includes vehicles and
machinery.

• Training in the form of toolboxes meetings will be presented to the staff to prevent drug
and alcohol related problems occurring in the workplace.

• Huon Logistics shall co-operate with law enforcement authorities relating to illicit
drugs or alcohol misuse in the workplace.

• Huon Logistics will maintain the confidentiality of information obtained about a
person under this Drug and Alcohol Policy, unless the information is required to be
disclosed by law.

• Behavior that encourages unacceptable consumption of alcohol or the abuse of drugs,
within Huon Logistics workplaces will not be tolerated.

• The reporting and management of prescription medication will be used to ensure the
health and safety of persons while at work.
Huon Logistics supports and is committed to this Drug and Alcohol Policy and requires all employees, contractors and visitors to participate in the Health & Safety Policy outlined.

Huon Logistics has developed this Drug and Alcohol Policy to eliminate the hazards within the workplace that are associated with the use or misuse of alcohol, illicit drugs, prescribed medication and non-prescribed medication.

Huon Logistics therefore prohibits the illegal use, sale, purchase, transfer, possession or presence in workers, contractors or visitors’ systems of drugs and alcohol including Buai. Medically prescribed drugs have to be declared and approved by doctor or management.

Huon Logistics believes all employees are responsible for maintaining their personal fitness for work. Pre- employment testing, random screening, and post incident screening for drugs and alcohol will be conducted.
